RAHAAN
Hailing from Chicago, the city which gave birth to House music, Rahaan has been spinning house and disco since the late 80’s when he started playing at house parties across the city.
In the 3 decades since Rahaan has become a Chicago legend, a DJ who is widely recognised for his exceptional skills behind the decks and his exquisite taste in music. Lately he has also been earning plaudits for his production skills with some truly outstanding releases.
Recently he has released on some key labels including Street Edits, Hot Biscuit Recordings BBE. His tracks are steeped in dancefloor groove, music made by a DJ with the sole intention of moving that floor.
His international profile has grown significantly with regular parties taking him around the world for headlining slots throughout the years. Aside from his trademark brand of funky disco and the non-typical new dance music, Rahaan is also well known for a steady Remix and edit output, often channeling boogie and disco funk, which has seen his reworks end up on many of labels. His edits and remixes are praised by many DJs and tons of blog sites alike. His sets and music are not to be missed!
